The kids are gonna be alright 🥺 As adults, it’s The kids are gonna be alright 🥺

As adults, it’s our job to unlock the limitless potential in each kid, and it starts with growth mindset.

At our schools, growth mindset is part of curriculum. Students are graded on it! We want to give them an awareness of how their thoughts affect outcomes in every area of life.
Comment the word “scholarship” and I’ll send you t Comment the word “scholarship” and I’ll send you the details.
If you want your 8th-11th grader to get the Alpha experience but can’t move to one of our cities this is the opportunity for you!

We are giving away 12 scholarships to students with ideas! We will help FUND your idea!

Don’t think small- think big-think HUGE-think ginormous-now even think bigger. Or smaller, whatever your passion is.

Tech. Art. Humanitarian. Healthcare. Sports. Animals. Environmental. Spiritual. Business. Fashion. Finance. Music. Aliens. Gaming. Science. Robotics. AI. Culinary.
WHATEVER your idea- we wanna hear it! Let’s goooooo!!
We let them make their own rules, and this is what We let them make their own rules, and this is what happened…

It may seem counterintuitive, but allowing students the freedom to decide their own community standards is often the best way for them to learn.

In this situation, Guides noticed “brain rot” chatter disrupting the school day, but knew that the students would eventually bring it up themselves during weekly town hall meetings.

Sure enough, that’s exactly what happened. Instead of adults cracking down on the kids, they self-reported their own struggles and voted on banning brain rot for several months.

After their self-control improved, they voted again to reinstate it. This type of agency instills lifelong life skills, and it’s something you can implement at home, on sports teams, or in classrooms.

What do you think?

1. Tech (Chromebooks, let’s be real) is being used 1. Tech (Chromebooks, let’s be real) is being used in the wrong way in most schools. Kids are glued to Chromebooks all day staring at digital worksheets. AI tutoring is the future of education because it allows each student to move at their own pace and level and reduces academic time to just 2-3 hours per day.

2. Schools should not be giving homework out. How is 8 hours at school not enough??

3. We are raising too many consumers. Schools should put more emphasis on teaching kids how to be creators instead of consumers.

4. Money doesn’t fix everything in education. Even if your school received more funding, the core issues would likely still remain, and kids would still fail to thrive.

5. Kids will be boring adults if you don’t teach them this skill: “Be interested and be interesting.”

6. Standard report cards are pointless. Letter grades don’t convey enough information to parents or students to be helpful.

7. Kids need to learn how to be gritty. Failure is crucial, and schools giving into participation trophy culture will raise a generation of weak adults.

8. Human-taught life skills will always be the secret sauce of our model. Oh, and teachers shouldn’t have to teach academics, grade papers or tests, communicate with parents, or live off of a terrible salary.

9. Kids should be rewarded for their work at school with money, prizes, or experiences!

10. All kids deserve an education that teaches life skills AND academics. I believe AI is the great equalizer of education, and can allow for systemic change like nothing ever before.

Do you agree with all of these?
Average amount of recess time for K-5 student in t Average amount of recess time for K-5 student in the US is??? At our schools we are HUGE believers of lots of outdoor recess time. We also give brian breaks during our 2 hour core learning time- at least 2 brain breaks and more like 3 for our littles. These breaks are 10-15 minutes to reset their little brains 🧠📚✏️ We even put climbing walls, basketball hoops, and other fun things in classrooms to make our brain breaks easier and more awesome!! #recess #educationreform #school
